Club History | It is thought that the interest of deaf people in lacrosse may have been sparked by the success of Ernie Levitzke, a star of the 1920's and 1930's whose hearing impairment was often referred to in the press. He may have been the driving force as he was absent from competition from 1928-1930 and returned to Midland in 1930, but the club lapsed due to his return to Midland. |
