| Club History | The club was formed when South Perth ceased to exist and the remaining members relocated to Wyong Park, Canning. They shared Wyong Park with Australian Rules football and, being the minor partner, suffered from lack of opportunity to raise funds. The club commenced with teams in all grades but did not survive lng before disbanding and becoming part of Southern District. It its final year it recruited Brook Sweet from the USA as an attack player. Sweet was an outstanding player who was voted the best player at the 1982 World Championship. He moved to Subiaco after Canning folded. |
